Shaina Lehan
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), M Ed, DTATI
As an art therapist, I believe in the healing power of creativity and the profound wisdom each person carries within them.
I worked as a teacher for many years, but when I discovered that art therapy was a profession, I knew I had found my calling and I pursued it, switching careers in 2020. I bring my love of teaching into art therapy, and welcome inquiries regarding corporate and educational art therapy group facilitation.
My approach is rooted in helping individuals and couples reconnect with their authentic selves, rediscover joy, and face life’s challenges with greater self-awareness and compassion.
I work with people who are navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, or burnout. In addition, I love to support creatives, highly sensitive individuals, or those feeling emotionally blocked. I also work with couples seeking deeper intimacy, improved communication, and support through major life changes.
You might not have made art since elementary or high school; this is all the more reason to try art-making in therapy. Let’s awaken the playful and creative child within you!
I currently reside in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke.
